I joined Globalpraxis in 2014 as a Consultant six months after finishing my MBA in Barcelona, when I was looking for new challenges with international exposure. Since then, I have worked in six different countries on three different continents.
As I had no consulting background before joining Globalpraxis, it was really surprising for me to notice how quickly my analytical & communication skills have evolved from project to project. In every project you will be challenged to learn something new and to deal with a different workstream in order to expand your knowledge.
In a recent collaboration for a leading portion coffee distributor in Western Europe, I had the opportunity to lead a specific workstream, developing a tailor-made conjoint tool that allowed us to present very detailed channel segmented recommendations, applying the volume & price elasticities we found with this tool.
Furthermore, in my last assignment to a leading NARTD bottler in Southern Europe, I developed the reshape and optimization of their current distribution network. In order to maximize their cost efficiency, we determined first the ideal minimum size and portfolio of future partners, afterwards applying individual action plans across all distributors that did not follow our requirements. This exercise resulted in a smaller but more committed & sustainable distribution network, according to our client’s long-term needs.
