After a brief time spent as deputy to the financial director of a German pharmaceutical corporation, Giancarlo Del Maro started his management consulting career in 1996. Since then, he has advised several leading firms, mostly in the consumer goods sector, working in more than 40 countries in Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

With more than 20 years of consulting experience, Giancarlo has gained extensive expertise and robust knowledge in strategic planning and change management, assisting his clients in a broad range of business areas including pricing, marketing, sales, distribution, supply chain, organization, and mergers and acquisitions.

Giancarlo has developed innovative consulting methodologies in the fields of channel marketing and route-to-market. He has a degree in Economics from the University La Sapienza in Rome and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Italian, Giancarlo lives in Rome. He speaks Italian, Spanish, and English, and has a working knowledge of French. He enjoys rowing and mountain biking.
