Cookie policy

Global Praxis Group, S.A. (“Globalpraxis”) developed this policy to inform you about what a cookie is and what it is used for, which cookies we use on this website (the “Web”), and to explain how to configure them according to your interests, in compliance with article 22.1 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, regarding the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, commonly known as LSSI.

When you visit our Web for the first time, we inform you of the existence, where appropriate, of both first and third-party cookies by means of the Cookie banner on the Web itself and this Cookie policy. We also tell you how you can configure the cookies you want to install among the different categories we use.

By the configuration or acceptance of cookies, you are consenting to the installation of all cookies or those selected.

However, you should keep in mind that there may be certain cookies, as reported accordingly, which are exempt from consent because they are essential for the proper functioning of the Web. Included in this exception are cookies of a technical nature that are intended to allow the user to browse the Web, to enable the use of the different services included on the Web, to control traffic and data communication, among other uses, as described below.

Our policy will always be available to you at the bottom of our Web under the link Cookie policy.

What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in the user’s browser. Cookies enable the use and navigation of a website and are essential for the functioning of the internet, providing countless advantages in the provision of interactive services.

For example, cookies can be used to manage the user’s session (reducing the number of times a password must be entered) or to adapt the contents of a website to user preferences, thereby improving the user’s experience.

Cookies are classified according to the following categories:

Depending on their duration, we distinguish between “session” and “persistent” cookies. Session cookies expire at the end of the user’s web browsing session, while persistent cookies remain on the user’s device for a certain period.

Likewise, depending on the entity managing the computer or domain that places the cookie and processes the collected data, we distinguish between first and third-party cookies. First-party cookies are sent to the user’s computer from a computer or domain managed by Globalpraxis, which is the same entity providing the services requested by the user, whereas third-party cookies are those sent to the user’s device from a computer or under a domain not managed by Globalpraxis or, if managed by Globalpraxis, it is a different entity that processes the data obtained by the cookies for its own purposes (often contracted providers, such as the web analytics service offered by Google).

You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org.

Other similar technologies

In addition to the information collected by cookies, we may use other similar technologies such as tracking pixels or web beacons.

Pixels are small graphic files that include a code managed through the url of a third party and that allow the information collected regarding the use of the website to be utilized for statistical and marketing purposes. Pixels collect information regarding the browser used, the visitor’s IP address, visit frequency and duration, and are also used to track the browsing actions on the website (such as products added to a shopping cart, products purchased, newsletters opened or type of audience interested), among others.

In addition to the use of tracking pixels or web beacons, we may implement the technique for identifying and tracking users known as fingerprinting, which allows us to verify certain technical parameters of the computer run by the user, such as the browser used, its operating system, screen resolution, plug-ins and add-ons installed, font, IP address, language and time zone and which, once combined, allow the identification of the user. The information collected will be used to track the activity and navigation of the user and to create a user profile.

What cookies do we use?

We use performance cookies on our Web.

In the following sections describing cookie types, we provide further information as to whether the information collected through each type of cookie is processed by a third party as being co-responsible for the ownership of the information collected:

Technical cookies

Technical cookies allow the user to navigate a website, platform or application and to choose between various options or services offered therein. An example are the cookies companies use to manage and operate their websites and to enable functions and services, such as controlling the traffic and communication of data, identifying the session, accessing sections with restricted access, recording items comprising an order (shopping cart), carrying out the purchase process of an order, managing payment, controlling fraud linked to the security of the service, processing application or event participation requests, counting visits for the purpose of billing the software licenses that run the service (website, platform or application), the use of security elements during navigation, storing content for video or sound diffusion, enabling dynamic content (for example, animation to load a text or image), and sharing content on social networks.

Technical cookies are exempt from complying with the obligations established in article 22.2 of the LSSI when they allow providing the service requested by the user, as in the case of the cookies listed in the previous paragraphs. However, if these cookies are also used for non-exempt purposes (for example, for behavioral marketing purposes), they will be subject to these obligations.

These cookies are necessary and therefore cannot be disabled by the user, as they are exempt from consent by article 22.2 of the LSSI.

We inform you that if you block the use of this type of cookie in your browser settings (see section “How to manage cookies” below), the Web might not work properly.

Technical cookies used: This Web does not use technical cookies.

Preference cookies

Preference cookies allow a website to remember information regarding the preferences chosen by users so they may access the service with certain features that can distinguish their experience from that of others, such as the language selected, the number of results displayed when performing a search, the appearance or content of the service depending on the type of browser used or the region from which the service is accessed.

These cookies are generally installed when the user performs certain actions on a website (for example, choosing a language) and are exempt from consent required by the LSSI, as they are considered a service requested expressly by the user (and provided that they are not processed for any other purpose).

Preference cookies used: This Web does not use preferences cookies.

Performance cookies

Performance cookies allow the responsible party to monitor and analyze user behavior on the web pages to which they are linked, including the number of pages visited, language used, frequency of the visits, visit duration, time spent on each section of the website, quantification of the impact of advertising or browser used, among others, in order to improve the product or service offered on a website.

Marketing cookies

Marketing cookies store information on user behavior, obtained through a continuous observation of the user’s browsing habits and which allow building a profile to target the user with advertising based on the user’s interests.

These cookies are usually managed by third parties who manage the placing of advertising that is displayed to visitors when accessing the website or the site’s advertising on third-party websites. These cookies allow, among other things, measuring the effectiveness of online campaigns, providing the user with information that may be of interest and offering advertising content related to the user’s browsing profile, as well as limiting the amount of advertising impacts directed at each user.

In accordance with their own policies, some marketing managers may use anonymous cookies to display ads that may be of interest to you when you visit other websites, crossing user information they were able to gather from your browsing activity on the relevant website or on others managed by third parties.

As indicated in the previous sections, we use third-party cookies on our Web.

Third-party cookies are directly managed by third parties who normally utilize the collected data for their own purposes. All the information can be found in the previous sections, as well as in the corresponding policies of any third party identified in prior sections.

Where is your information processed?

When using third-party cookies, it is possible that your data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or to countries with an adequate level of protection in compliance with the applicable regulations.

Depending on the destination country, the transfer may involve an international transfer of data to countries lacking the adequate safeguards.
