
Richard Scott is a senior international commercial executive with over 20 years of experience at the world’s top FMCG companies, where he has delivered sustainable growth and successful transformations across 36 markets and 5 continents.
Throughout his career, most recently as global commercial development vice president at Carlsberg Breweries, he has built commercial growth engines that connect category, brand, channel, and revenue growth management; designed end-to-end operating models and planning that convert strategy into repeatable in-market performance; and led high-impact commercial centers of excellence at global, regional, and local levels.
Before arriving at Carlsberg, Richard held senior leadership roles at SABMiller and Coca-Cola Amatil, where he was instrumental in driving innovation, restoring market-leading brands, evolving route-to-market models, and turning around performance in complex markets.
He holds an executive MBA from Henley Management College (UK) and a bachelor’s in social science from the University of Natal (South Africa).
In his free time, Richard enjoys rugby, cricket and golf, as well as travelling and art history.
